Happy Valentine's Day
It has taken me years, but I finally don't dread Valentine's Day (ok, not as much!). As a single young person, I have to say it has been difficult. Our society bombards us with having a special someone in our life (especially this time of year). Well some of us, for some reason or another hasn't happened. Maybe it has happened and things aren't working out, it wasn't what you expected! Well, let me encourage you! There is One that loves you with an everlasting, unconditional and uncompromising love! We do not deserve this love, because we have fallen short, but He still loves us more than we can ever imagine! Romans 5:8 says "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us!" This is the Ultimate Valentine! This is Ultimate love! Giving of one's self for another! May we ALL focus on Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us! May this be an example for us to others!
I thank God for friends who enourage me in keeping my focus on the Lord Jesus Christ! I want to specially thank Kari, I have enjoyed so much of our outings, conversations, laughter and tears! I have enjoyed spending time with Alex, he is such a joy! May be some of his energy and enthusiam will rub off on me! I look forward to spending more time with him and Chloe! I also need some blogging tips... I mean you were the one that got me started on this!!! :P There are many who have touched my life that it would take me forever to list them all. God has richly blessed me and I am thankful. Have a blessed Valentine's Day, and remember who loves you ultimately! By God's grace, Gretchen :)
